01Screen candidates and automatically schedule interviews
Automate candidate screening and interview scheduling. The practical session demonstrates connecting n8n with OpenAI, Google Sheets, Calendar and email to filter, score and automatically offer timeslots to candidates.
Objective: build a flow that evaluates applications, updates a Sheets tracker and generates Calendar invites by email.
Prepare environment: API access, Sheets schema, email templates and Calendar permissions.
Progressive build: automated scoring with OpenAI, availability sync and sending invites/confirmations.
Security checkpoint: manage calendar permissions, protect personal data and audit outgoing messages.
