  • Shadrap: an augmented telemedicine project

SHADRAP · RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Bring care closer. Open up new possibilities.

Shadrap explores a powerful idea: combining teleconsultation, connected equipment and artificial intelligence in a point of care designed for areas where access to healthcare remains difficult. Led by Neopolis, the project is in research and development and is seeking investors and partners to shape its next stages.

01

Teleconsultation

Connect patients and healthcare professionals in an equipped environment.

02

Data & AI

Explore useful, traceable assistance evaluated within the care journey.

03

Resilient infrastructure

Design around field conditions, maintenance and connectivity constraints.

A healthcare ambition. An engineering challenge.

Distance, connectivity constraints and the availability of professionals can make healthcare harder to access. Shadrap is exploring an approach that brings tools closer to patients while keeping healthcare professionals at the center of the consultation. The aim is to connect an equipped setting, useful measurements and a remote consultation within a coherent care journey.

What the research explores

The proposed work covers connected device integration, teleconsultation interfaces, secure data flows and AI assistance. Energy resilience, limited connectivity and technical supervision are part of the design constraints. Each function must be evaluated in its intended setting before it can be presented as an available capability.

From concept to field validation

Development should combine technical prototypes, feedback from healthcare professionals and preparation for supervised pilots. Measurement reliability, data protection, usability and requirements in each territory are validation priorities. The scenarios described form a working roadmap; performance, timelines and deployment arrangements remain to be confirmed.

Investors and partners: help shape what comes next

Neopolis is seeking discussions with organizations that can support R&D, pilot preparation and exploration of the deployment model. Investors, healthcare organizations, institutions, technology partners and local operators can contribute at different stages. An initial discussion helps clarify maturity, assumptions, funding needs and collaboration arrangements.
